The ruling party in Andhra Pradesh had a clean sweep in Legislative Council from the Local body constituencies quota. Out of 9 seats, the Telugu Desam won six seats unanimously. The opposition YSRCP did not field any party candidates in these reserved constituencies (where TDP won 6 seats) as the party did not have adequate winning members. Counting of votes for these seats will be held on March 20th.
