The Budget sessions of twin states of Telugu (AP & Telangana) will be held one after the other with in a space of one week. The AP assembly budget sessions is beginning from this Monday i.e, March 6th and Telangana State budget session will begin on March 10th.
The Telangana State session will continue up to March 29th or 30th, depending upon the final decision to be taken at the Business Advisory Committee (BAC). Mr. Eatala Rajender, (TS) finance Minister of Telangana State will present the budget proposals for the financial year 2017-18, on March 13th.
The AP budget sessions will be held for the first time after state bifurcation in the newly constructed assembly complex at Velagapudi. Governor Mr. ESL Narasimhan will address the joint legislature on the first day. Finance Minister Mr. Yanamala Ramakrishnudu present the budget. After Governor’s address of the assembly, the number of working days will be decided at the Business Advisory Committee meeting.
The AP government has decided to give every member an additional amount of Rs.50,000/- to meet their expenses besides regular expenses for attending the assembly sessions. The government has also allotted R&B Guest house in Vijayawada to the main opposition party leader Mr. YS Jagan for the entire duration of the assembly sessions.
