AP CM on fast track to propel Andhra to top 3 states by 2022

In his futuristic plan to make Andhra one of the top 3 states in India in the IT & ITES sector, Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu initiates many programs to realise the IoT model for the state. On Wednesday in Mumbai he had a personal meeting with Mr. Satya Nadella – CEO of Microsoft and attended “Future Decoded” program to put his plans to make AP the leading state in IT sector.
The action plan starts with “Project Sangam”, a cloud service integrated with Microsoft and LinkedIn. This would provide people find jobs via Microsoft’s LinkedIn and help them receive job options according to their skill sets, in a way counselling the job seekers and bringing them closer to the work opportunities. To benefit from this initiate job seekers should enroll through Aadhaar Card and later sign up with LinkedIn to manage their profile. The candidates will also be given training on Project Sangam. The software developed by Microsoft will update candidate’s profile for employers to shortlist and hire suitable candidates.
Mr. Satya Nadella – CEO of Microsoft, remarked that, this is the first cloud based integration between LinkedIn and Microsoft which would be of immense utility to unemployed masses of this country. In a press note Mr. Satya Nadella said “when a person joins this program, the system will create a LinkedIn profile which will be updated appropriately as and when the person enhances his / her skill sets (which of course need to be updated by the candidate in their personal profile). Companies wanting to hire, say, hospitality, retail or construction staff can upload their requirements. Sangam will match these requirements with those of trained personnel and offer options to both sides. The program gives every person in India the opportunity to skill themselves and find suitable jobs” he said.
The LinkedIn platform has 39 million members in India and this project will commence from Andhra Pradesh.
The Andhra Pradseh government also signed MoU’s with Visa and Thomson Reuters for strengthening and to enhance the reach of user base in the financial service sector with IT enabled services. Visa will help sustain financial inclusion and will introduce QR code, while Thomson Reuters will build financial technical initiatives using government provided infrastructure.
