Sharing of assets between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh gets a speedy solution. The ministerial level Reoganisation committee
of both states in the presence of Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan cleared bifurcation of nine state -level corporations listed in Schedule 1X of Reorganisation Act, which is stated to be a positive step towards resolving the issue.
Both the governments agreed to share the funds of nine corporations in the ratio of 58:42 on the basis of population.
They decided to clear another contentious issue of 1250 electricity employees which is also a good step forward in this direction.
Handing over of buildings occupied by the AP government will be discussed at an another meeting scheduled to be held on 26th February. Telengana is represented by Ministers T. Harish Rao and G. Jagadish Reddy, government adviser Mr. G. Vivek and principal finance secretary Mr. N. Ramakrishna Rao.
